President’s Update

To All NGJA Members,
With the completion of all the JO National Championships, here is a quick NGJA update as we head into summer:

1. Congratulations to Dan Bachman!!! – Dan has been named as the Technical Director for the Pacific Rim
   Championships! This competition is held every two years and Dan is replacing Jeff Thompson.
2. The 2017 – 2018 judging season – The judging season is almost over with only 3 competitions remaining:
   a. US Qualifier – July 12-15 at the USOTC in Colorado Springs, CO
   b. USA Championships – Aug. 16-19 in Boston, MA
3. USA Championships in Boston – August 16-19, 2018, are the dates for the USA Championships in Boston. The
   NGJA will hold its annual meetings at this event. NGJA members are invited to attend and observe. More
   information on the date and time will be provided next month.
4. 2018 NCAA Judging Season – for a final look at the statistics from the 2018 season, go to roadtonationals.com
   then Men, then Charts, then All Team Charts to see the Home/Away difference!
5. NGJA.org – remember to check the NGJA website during the summer for more information.
