USAG J.O. Compulsory Judging Clarification
Jeff Robinson
Junior
Olympic Program Coordinator
October 4, 2007
To the Junior Men's Community,
It has just been pointed out to me that the recent Update #11 does not clarify that the FIG table of deductions (Small error - 0.1, Medium error - 0.3, Large error - 0.5, and Fall - 0.8) is only to be used for the Optional Levels. The Compulsory levels 4-7 will still use the compulsory table of deductions from last year (Small error - 0.1, Medium error - 0.2, Large error - 0.3, and Fall - 0.5) for this coming 2007-2008 season.
Once again. To be very clear:
Optional levels 8, 9, and 10: (Small error - 0.1, Medium error - 0.3, Large error - 0.5, and Fall - 0.8)
Compulsory levels 4 - 7: (Small error - 0.1, Medium error - 0.2, Large error - 0.3, and Fall - 0.5)
For Judging purposes, this season in particular, it will be very important to record deductions with (S, M, L, Alphabetical notation and sub in the correct numeric value when calculating final score.
Thanks,
Jeff Robinson
